In July, NOAA Ocean Exploration and partners completed the third #SeascapeAlaska expedition on NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer, conducting 6 full remotely operated vehicle (ROV) dives, mapping nearly 16,000 square kilometers (6,180 square miles), collecting a variety of biological and geological samples, making several exciting discoveries, and increasing our understanding of the deep waters off Alaska's Aleutian Islands.
